Angela and I have been friends since 2002. That's two decades of friendship! Through thick and thin, highs and lows, we have stuck together like glue. It's like a real-life version of Thelma and Louise, minus the crime spree and Brad Pitt. Though there was this one time in St Thomas when we almost missed the ship… lol! Our other bestie, Myrel won’t let us travel without her anymore! But, I digress…
Angela’s not just a regular mom, she's a cool mom. (Yes, I just quoted Mean Girls, and no, I'm not sorry.) While, she wouldn’t admit this, she’s actually gotten pretty good at multitasking, juggling more hats than a magician at a circus. Not only is she a wife and mom to four (including her daughter-in-law), but she's also a proud Gigi to an adorable 18-month-old. Family is important to her, she doesn't just wear the mom hat; she's also a devoted daughter and daughter-in-law. She runs errands for her in-laws, makes sure everyone is taken care of, and still finds time to check in on both her parents, who live in different states. It's like she has a cape hidden under all those hats. And should one of her besties needs her during a medical scare, she comes running, even if two of us need her within the same week.
On top of her family duties, Angela is a small business owner. She's the brains behind a monthly faith-based subscription box called “Blessed & Boujee Box Company”. She carefully curates (and obsesses just a little, lol) each item with love and attention to detail. The color of the shirts that go into the box have to be just right, because, let's face it, the right shade of blue can make all the difference. And the shirts better be soft!
So, why not add one more (maybe two) things to her plate? Instead of a hat, this one comes with an apron. Angela is my sous chef for my Creative Critterz Retreats. She’s awesome! Hates to cook and hates eating fruits and vegetables even more, lol, but she is fast, efficient and keeps me on track. Together we make a good team, so when you come to one of my retreats at Priceless Memories Retreat Center, you will see the two of us working together to provide amazing meals and scheming for our next adventures in between those meals. I told ya… I’m a lucky girl.
