This was our second annual Girls Country Trip Retreat, and it was an absolute blast!
This year’s adventure was all about enjoying the beautiful countryside of East Texas and exploring the charming small towns surrounding Priceless Memories Crafting Retreat Center in Quitman, Texas.
This weekend, we focused on Winnsboro, located just 8 miles from the retreat. Our theme featured a cute pink and blue “Let’s Go Girls” design, and everyone received a personalized popcorn tumbler and a fun canvas crossbody bag to carry while shopping at the farmers market and local boutiques.
Friday night was our PJ & Face Mask Party—and oh my goodness, the laughs! 🤪🤣🤣🤣
Saturday morning started with blueberry picking at Pond Creek Meadows Farm. We also explored the farm stand, greenhouse, and gorgeous grounds before heading into Winnsboro for the Farmers Market.
Most of the ladies returned to the retreat to enjoy homemade chicken salad croissants that I got up early to make before we left. But Cindy and I decided to stay in town for lunch at the cutest little café tucked away in a Winnsboro alley—The Haven Café.
Owners Derek and Amelia were wonderful hosts, and everything about the café was absolutely delightful. ❤️
Between the blueberry picking, farmers market shopping, boutique hopping, great food, and lots of laughter, it was the perfect East Texas girls’ getaway. We are already looking forward to next year’s adventure!
